Frequently Asked Questions
How do you conduct your math tutoring?
Our tutoring is conducted virtually, one-on-one. It’s real one-on-one tutoring for your child, meaning that we answer each student’s questions in real time and walk through problems step-by step.
How will a tutor be selected for my child?
We select a tutor for your child based on who from our team matches your child’s specific subject, as well as who is able to best accommodate your scheduling needs.
Do you give homework?
We are able to on an as-needed basis. We believe that practice is essential for mastering math; however, we seek to support our students as much as possible with their current school homework without overwhelming them.
Do you have an in-person location?
While we are based in Macon, GA, we do not currently have an in-person location. However, once that happens, we will let you know.
How is math tutoring priced?
We provide a variety of flexible tutoring packages and subscriptions to give our students options. The option we recommend for you will be based on your needs, flexibility, and tutoring frequency. Packages are “buckets” of tutoring hours that you use as needed, while subscriptions auto-renew monthly and have a two-month minimum.
How long are math tutoring sessions?
Tutoring sessions are as long as you’d like! We’re flexible on how we set session length for each student. We typically recommend sessions of 30 minutes (max) for middle schoolers and 1 hour (min) for high-schoolers; however, session length is ultimately based on individual student need and ability, and is based on what the tutor and parent agree to.
